Commemorating the World Brain Awareness Week, POSTECH Brain Research Center (BRC) and Korean Brain Society held a public lecture on Mar. 14 from 7p.m. at the auditorium in BRC The lecture was held under the theme of “development and application of state of the art neuroscience technology” and speeches were delivered by Prof. Kyong Tai Kim (LIFE), Prof. Jae Joon Kim (CiTE), and Prof. Chulhong Kim (ME). The event is expected to foster and gratify the general public’s curiosity about brain as research attempting to unravel mysteries regarding human brain is taking the center stage along with the great surge of public’s attention toward artificial intelligence (AI). The event will be a great opportunity for common people, especially students to pursue in-depth knowledge in brain and foster their interest in brain research.
