POSTECH has officially announced the UI (University Identification) containing a new directing point ‘Value Creating University’.

In 2016, POSTECH had its 30th anniversary, and since then, POSTECH has attempted to go a step further - from being a research-oriented university to a value creating university. A value creating university maximizes talent and value of knowledge through education, research through inceptions, and having policies and systems that can expand these values into significant social values, such as creating employment or making important contributions to society. Since 2016, POSTECH has been developing innovative education∙research related policies in a variety of areas, including employment, entrance exams, and undergraduate courses. 

In order to express POSTECH’s will into an image, the newly added UI has the quote “Value Creating University” in italics, to illustrate the spirit of challenge. Also, considering the harmony with the original POSTECH red colored UI, this quote has added POSTECH’s dark orange color, increasing its distinctness. Along with this newly announced UI, business cards, PowerPoint templates and souvenirs have also been designed, and are expected to be widely used in departmental offices.
