The memorial concert took place at POSTECH Auditorium at 7:30 P.M. on Sep. 8 in order to commemorate the 6th president’s inauguration processed on Sep. 5.
There were about 600 in attendance, including undergraduate students taking Culture Colloquium, POSTECH staff, faculties, and of course the new president, Yongmin Kim.
Three different teams performed their music for two hours. The main performer was the baritone, Choi Hyeon-su. Other various musicians such as Brass Market (consisting of students in Korea National Univerisity of Arts), string instrument players, and a vocal group also provided the evening’s entertainment.
Min-ju Park (Undecided, ’11) who attended the concert said, “all the music played was great. I liked to listen to the elegant sound from string instruments and the cheerful music performed by Brass Market. Moreover, the music sung by the vocal group was really amazing.
