If I were to define my relationship with writing, my answer would be “a passionate pain”. Writing pains me, but at the same time makes me passionate, unlike anything else. Good writing is hard to accomplish, but the joy of having written a good article is an unsurpassable feeling. For me, writing is an art that requires craftsmanship, patience, and rhythm.  
 Every writing has its own unique story, which I like just as much as the writing process itself. To be more specific, stories of people’s lives and thoughts intrigue me more than anything in the world. Getting to know someone’s story and their thoughts tells something fundamental about the person that nothing else can reveal. 
 This passion for writing and stories made me join The Postech Times and this is what inspires me to write. Now, I am not simply a writer. I am a reporter, and I will take responsibility as one. I will deliver the stories of our fellow students because I take communication and understanding inside our community as one of my main responsibilities as a reporter. I will bring the stories of people around the world to you because I feel that one of my roles as a reporter includes extending your view of the world to outside the boundary of our school. 
 My aspiration as a writer is a reporter who writes the truth and truth only, and at the same time shares with the readers her opinions on the topic. I will try my best to leave not only my opinion but also a question, an empty space in every article for readers to fill with their own thoughts. I am not an outstanding writer and I am still lacking in many areas, but I hope you will follow me through the process and observe my growth as a writer. 
 It excites me to communicate with our dear readers through The Postech Times. I hope my experience as a reporter will be a positive influence on both me and for you readers out there.
