『The Road Not Taken』
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth:
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
….
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

This is part of a poem, The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost. The words “and I, I took the one less traveled by. And that has made all the difference” always touched me. As a person who always dares to take a new road, becoming a reporter for The Postech Times will be a new part of it. Never had I had a chance to participate in a real organization that represented something. The new experience of writing by representing a university and influencing others by my own words is indeed a once in a life-time experience.
The first month of POSTECH was covered with colors I had not expected. It was wilder than I thought and I had a truly grateful time wandering in it. By learning deepened academics, trying new sports, and meeting new people has been a thrilling ride for me. As an attempt to record this fulfilling campus life, it has greatly attempted me to become a school reporter. Documenting the important news whether in or out of school would be a great chance to paste the precious moments.
Today, at this moment as I am writing my first draft of my new journey and I am thrilled and grateful to have been given a chance to draft the part of the road. The image drawn in my mind of a reporter is a person who is righteous, eager, and faithful to share the news of the world. In this fast paced world, given the fact that my report could give you a new perspective of the world, I will try my best to provide well-refined, concise writing.  As the saying goes, “The pen is mightier than the sword,” writing is highly influential. With that in mind I will work hard to give a truthful, cyclical report which can help broaden the viewpoints of my readers. By trying to provide information in logical ways, I will work hard to demonstrate clear, well-organized infor-
mation. I hope to reach out to Postechians with my next article.
