POSTECH Creative Idea Lab recently helped 24 undergraduate students, ordinary people, and employees to recieve the second class qualification of Makers specialists through Makers Specialist M4 Training Course.
Under the slogan of 'Move Makers Move Me', POSTECH Creative Idea Lab runs woodwork and leather workshop M4 programs- M4 DAY for parents, and M4 summer school for elementary, middle and high schools.
Considering its targets, the Makers Specialist M4 Training Course was scheduled during evenings on weekdays. This course was aimed to educate the students to understand DIY·Makers culture and learn how to operate various digital equipment and educational kits. In order to realize the ideas of the students, it used the equipment and open source data to produce the Pohang publicity materials. The trainees will receive the second class qualification of Makers specialists issued by The Korea Association of Consilience Education and will be provided with practical training for the purpose of strengthening the capacity to train DIY practitioners. In addition, POSTECH Creative Idea Lab supports the fostering of the Makers community by holding regular networking days.
