Professor Cho has been conducting research for 20 years in polymer science and organic electronic devices, such as nano-polymer surfaces, materials for organic semiconductor, and primary materials for flexible display panels.
Professor Cho’s research gathered attention by developing technology that uses light to control water on the surface of material by bringing about super-hydrophobic or super-hydrophilic states. The research results were carried by the Journal of the American Chemical Society and were introduced in Chemistry World, Photonics Spectra, and Scientific American.
Cho also developed technology for single crystal organic electronic devices and produced a paper which was listed on the front page of Advanced Functional Materials, a renowned journal in the field of material science. Cho has produced 61 papers in world class journals in the field of polymer surfaces and organic electronic devices during the last 3 years.
