Professor Kim Chul-hong (CiTE) won the ‘Lutronic Young Investigator Award’ from the Korean Society of Medical & Biological Engineering. KOSOMBE is a large-scale conference in Korea, which has about 5,600 members since its foundation in 1979. The award is given to the individual who has made outstanding research contributions within ten years after receiving a doctorate. Prof. Kim has achieved several outstanding research achievements including the development of the ultra-high atomic force microscopy, which was awarded for his contribution to the development of medical and biological engineering and KOSOMBE.
