Professor Kim Sanguk (LIFE), head of POSTECH Biological Research Information Center (BRIC), promised a new sponsorship deal with Suk Sujin, representative director of Life Technologies Korea. BRIC Webinar is a seminar where researchers can get academic information or educational contents related to their research by online meeting through the Internet. Any researcher can access through PC or Android mobile phone and participate with no restriction of time and space. Life Technologies Korea was founded in 2000 and produces experimental instruments and chemical substances for life science and pharmacology. It agreed to the purpose of BRIC Webinar, which is the sharing of information for scholars and extension of educational contents, so it will be supporting BRIC Webinar for a year starting from April, 2014. This new sponsorship deal between BRIC Webinar and Life Technologies Korea will help BRIC Webinar grow more, activate the exchange of information between researchers, and spread the news of research and achievements. Furthermore, this is expected to be a good example of active participation of enterprises in the production and distribution of academic information for scholars.
