The launching ceremony for the third POSTECH overseas charity members was held on Nov. 8 in the auditorium of POSCO International Center. President Yongmin Kim, Jun H. Choe (Vice President, Planning of KARTS), Joon. H, Cho (Vice President, Admissions and student Affairs of POSTECH), and 35 volunteers, consisting of students of POSTECH and Korea National University of Arts (KARTS), attended.
It was the first time that POSTECH and KARTS did joint volunteer work in Ethiopia. Through this program, volunteers of POSTECH will deliver a science lecture and research appropriate technology, and volunteers of KARTS willteach arts and physical education and promote cultural exchange between the two countries.
The third POSTECH overseas volunteer team,‘We share the future’, has been sponsored by Woori Bank to help Postechians develop talents for the nation and humanity with the core values of honor, leadership, and commitment to society.
