Opening a New Field of Creativity: The 1st POSTECH Cultural Content Contest in Science and Technology

An award show for the 1st POSTECH Cultural Content Contest in Science and Technology was held at Hogil Kim Memorial Hall on Nov. 30.
Hosted by The Postech Times, the 1st POSTECH Cultural Content Contest in Science and Technology called for contest submission that incorporates the theme of POSTECH, Postechian, and Sience and Society in the format of a photo story, UCC, and science fiction (SFs) of free topic.
Taesung Lee (CES Ph.D. candidate) was awarded the grand prize for the photo story titled “Unstoppable POSTECH’s Time.”  The excellent prize was awarded to Gil Han-seok (CE 10) for the SF titled “A Piece of Chinese Ink, Dorm, and above the Clouds”. Kim Jung-woo (IME 10) and Ahn Dong Hoon (CITE 12) were awarded the excellent prize for UCC titled “Art, Science, and Technology: Which Road Do You Take” and “How to Enjoy POSTECH,” respectively. For the photo story, “My First Day in POSETCH” by Angele Koh (LIFE integrated) and “Living as POSTEHian among Many Postechians ” by Park Tae-yoon (CE 10) were selected for the excellent prize.
This event aims to enhance creativity and imagination and give students a chance to express ideas through various media.
