Lee Jong-Ryul was the founder of the SAMJUNG Steel Co., LTD, POSCO M-TECH’s predecessor. Prof. Choi has a 14-year distinguished professional history with POSTECH, and he is recognized as one of the world-class leading scientists in the field of solar energy conversion for environmental remediation. Prof. Choi is especially renowned for photo catalyst research. He has published research results on semiconductor photocatalysis for environmental remediation and environ- mental photochemistry intensively.
Prof. Choi has published 164 papers during his professoriate in POSTECH. He has written a total of 177 research papers, 165 papers on SCI. His papers have been cited 14,960 times in SCI journals.
