Professor Emeritus Shin Ae Lee of the Department of Life Science contributed 60 million KRW to the ‘Mook-Ae scholarship’ again after five years, President Yongmin Kim announced on Nov. 21.

Prof. Lee has previously contributed 250 million KRW which is a legacy of her husband, Prof. Lee Jong-mook of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, 100 million KRW which is her real estate for old ages and also 5 million KRW to the 20th anniversary commemorative mural ‘Mook-Ae fund’ was founded by Prof. Lee after Prof. Lee Jong-mook passed away in 2006. This scholarship has been named after each character of two professor’s name. The scholarship is awarded for one student in Department of Life Science and Department of Mechanic Engineering with superior grades.
