KyeongBuk Sea Grant Business appointed by Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs will host Marine purification activity and Marine science class on Oct. 23 in Pohang Bukbu beach and POSTECH. It is held in order to celebrate International Coastal Cleanup day. It is anticipated that about 100 people will join the event, including students and teachers from Pohang Sangdae Elementary School selected as a marine model school and POSTECH graduates related to marine biology. They will participate in purifying some sea areas and take a class, ‘Comprehension on marine biology and diversity’ taught by Professor Kang CK.
