POSTECH was victorious over KAIST in the 10th POSTECH & KAIST Science War, held at KAIST on Sep. 23 and 24. Outstanding students in POSTECH and KAIST competed in games of soccer, hacking, AI programming, Starcraft, baseball, science quiz, and basketball. KAIST beat POSTECH 1-0 in Soccer, 2-1 in Starcraft II, 6-2 in hacking, and 14-11 in baseball. On the other hand, POSTECH won hands down in AI programming by 3-0 and science quiz by 122-49. In addition, it beat KAIST 2-1 in Starcraft I and 49-47 in basketball. Although both universities’ teams had the same combined score before the basketball competition, the victory was given to POSTECH with the score of 450 to 350 as it won in basketball. Finishing the Science war in this year with victory, POSTECH held the dominant position over KAIST with an overall score of 5 wins and 4 losses.
