The joint research conducted by Professor Euiho  Suh of the Department of Indust-rial and Management Engineering, Hong Dae-geun (IME, Ph.D. candidate), and Lee Su-chul (IME, Ph.D. candidate) received the Best Paper Award at 2011 KMIS & Conf-IRM International Conference.

Prof. Suh’s joint research team was given the 2011 award for the paper, titled ‘A New Approach to Improve Knowledge Sharing Activities at the Organizational Level by Rearranging Members of Current CoPs’.
Prof Suh’s team veered from the traditional method of amassing members of CoPs (Communities of Practice) for activating knowledge sharing by suggesting a new sharing way based on reorganizing members of CoPs. Furthermore, his research team verified its efficiency by presenting mathematical models for each problem and developing its solution program.

The award was presented at the 2011 KMIS & Conf-IRM International Conference at COEX Convention Center in Seoul.
