This performance was presented with four categories, which were ‘Sleeping Beauty’, ‘Diana and Actaeon’, ‘The Corsair’ and ‘Love or Hate It’. In the middle of the performances, Professor Kim Sun-hee, the executive director of this ballet company introduced the subjects and explained the way and manner to watch them. Many people came to the auditorium to watch the performances and gave a big applause after each one.
One of the spectators, Lee Jun-won of the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department said, “It is the first time for me to see the ballet performance so closely. Although classical music is quiet and calm, I could feel something dynamic with the addition of ballet movement.”
This performance was a part of cultural exchange between POSTECH and the Korea National University of Arts. And there will be a credit exchange in the upcoming winter semester for those that are interested in more cultural activities.
