POSTECH has launched the POSTECH English Clubs so as to improve the English abilities of its students. The program is free not only to  the undergraduate students of POSTECH, but also to foreign exchange students who are in need of programs that will enhance their English ability. Also, one person is free to join more than one club at a time. The POSTECH English Clubs were first established in the Spring Semester of 2009. This semester’s English clubs include 10 clubs sponsored by 9 professors.

The program received applicants until Oct. 10 by directly e-mailing the designated professor of each club. The 10 clubs all have different features. These clubs are: the Sport through English Club, the Movie Club, the Literature Circle, the Intercultural Club, the English Humor Club, the Walking and Talking Club, the TV Time in English Club, the e-Junto English Blogging Club, the English Discussion Club, the English Writing Club. The club room is the Discussion Room, which is equipped with movie watching facilities, next to the English Library in Mueunjae 431.
