On Nov. 11, the 2023 STadium was held at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). STadium is an annual sports festival where institutions of science and technology gather, compete, and socialize. 2023 STadium was even more special as the Korea Institute of Energy Technology (KENTECH) participated in bands and dance team performances. BREMEN, STEELER, P-FUNK, and other diverse clubs also presented notable performances, enriching the cultural exchanges. The games featured five different sports (badminton, soccer, E-sports, baseball, and basketball), encompassing seven disciplines, as women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s doubles were the disciplines in badminton games. POSTECH and other institutions of science and technology (KAIST, GIST, DGIST, UNIST, and KENTECH) bonded through athletics and club performances once again. 
  POSTECH has been the STadium’s dominant force. The POSTECH badminton team was on fire. In the men’s double, the team defeated KAIST in the qualifying round, defeated UNIST in the finals, and won the badminton championship as POSTECH demolished GIST 2-0 in the final. The POSTECH soccer team missed to reach the final after losing a penalty shootout with UNIST by a score of 2-4 after a rip-roaring 0-0 draw. In E-Sports, POSTECH dominated and made it to the tournament’s final, where they faced UNIST and earned the League of Legends tournament win. In baseball, the POSTECH baseball team beat GIST by a score of 6-0 on a walk-off to reach the final. POSTECH and UNIST had a close game, scoring 5-5. As POSTECH had a lead with a total on-base score of 11-8, POSTECH seized the tournament. The last match of 2023 STadium was the basketball game. The POSTECH basketball team convincingly defeated GIST 55-22 and brought another massive win against KAIST by a score of 40-28 in the final. Through great passion and amazing performance, POSTECH now has the guardianship of the winning flag. The other institutions of science and technology will compete and try to take over the flag in the 2024 STadium but POSTECH will not give it up easily.
  After the intense games where players permeated every fiber of their mind and body, both players and supporters of POSTECH found unity through athletics. POSTECH won the title of 2023 STadium with a total score of 20, taking four championships in badminton men’s doubles, E-Sports, baseball, and basketball. UNIST managed to finish as runners-up for POSTECH. Via 2023, STadium, POSTECH, and the five institutions of science and technology enjoyed the festival and were able to create beautiful, lasting moments.
