As of Aug. 7, the General Affairs and Safety Team is operating car sharing zones on campus. The car sharing is a system where members can rent cars that are parked at designated parking lots. The purpose of this system is to improve Postechians’ affordability and convenience of transportation. The service providers are two major car sharing companies, "Green Car" and "Socar." Six cars are allocated at the Residential College parking lot, 4 cars at the Tae-Joon Park Digital Library outdoor parking lot, and 2 cars at the Posville parking lot. Students can rent cars via the service providers’ mobile applications. Students should be especially advertent not to cause car accidents. After use, students should park the cars at designated locations.
