Seok Woo Lee, CEO of the Association of POSTECH Grown Companies (APGC) and representative of Penta Security Systems Inc., held the first board-of-directors training in POSTECH on Feb. 7-8.
The training began with an open discussion on the core qualifications of the leaders of Penta Security Systems. Visiting Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory and Techno Park as well as attending to insights on globalization via a speech delivered by Professor Jin-Woo Lee (POSTECH, HSS) heightened the significance of leadership of newly formed executive board members. As a reminder, trainees were encouraged to share ideas for the achievement of the vision, “Trust for an Open Society”.
“We hope Penta Security System would grow as one of the world’s finest first-class firms by cooperating and immersing ourselves into the works we do”, said CEO Seok Woo Lee. Meanwhile, Penta Security is planning to promote the establishment of Pohang Research Firm to strengthen the industry-academy cooperation with POSTECH.
