A Healthy Drinking Culture Campaign was conducted for twelve days from May 7 to 18 across the campus. Hosted by the division of General Affairs & Safety Management, it aimed to arouse awareness of physical, psychical, financial, and social problems that can occur from drinking, and to create a healthy drinking culture. During the campaign, posters were exhibited on the first and the second floor of the Student Union Building. Those included posters showing the effects of alcohol consumption, proper amount of drinking, and effects on an embryo when pregnant women consume alcohol. In addition, a booth was opened as a day booth for students as a part of the campaign on May 17 during the Sunrise Festival. Two counselors from Pohang Alcohol Counseling Center were invited to counsel students free of charge after finishing a survey.
