Starting May 1, the price of breakfast sold in Cafeteria and Oasis were increased. The increase was approved by the welfare board of directors, which includes several members of Undergraduate and Graduate Associations, and faculties. 
In the case of Cafeteria, the price of beanpaste pot stew, uncurled bean curd stew, and sprout soup rice rose from 2,400 KRW to 2,800 KRW for students and from 3,000 KRW to 3,500 KRW for non-Postechians. Moreover, the price of Dolsot Bibimbap increased from 3,600 KRW to 4,000 KRW for students and from 4,500 KRW to 5,000 KRW for non-Postechians. The breakfast menu in Oasis, which is more widely known as the snack bar, moved up its price from 1,500 KRW to 2,000 KRW. The increase occurred for the first time in six and four years, respectively.
Welfare Facilities noted that the price increase was determined as the price of foods sold in the Freedom student dining hall went up in order to attain balance of quality of foods in each restaurant as before.
