The present minister of Environment Yoo Young Suk visited POSTECH in order to inspire growing Postechians. The seminar was held on Nov. 4 in the POSCO International Center. There were about 60 people in attendance including the President Yongmin Kim and Professor Yunje Cho among graduate and university students and faculty members.

The Minister of Environment started the seminar by emphasizing to the audience the seriousness of the current environment pollution problem. Moreover, she brought out the solution for the problem and explained several policies which she endeavors to propel soon. At the end of the seminar, in order to encourage students, she explained how she became the minister and gave them the hope.  

The minister, Yoo Young Suk worked as a vice president in her research division in Korea Institute of Science and Technology.
