From May 10 to 12, 2017 Sunrise Festival was held a week faster than last year. This year, the festival preparing organization prepared the festival with the theme ‘You Only Live Once,’ which meant Postechians should enjoy the festival which is only once in their lives. This year’s Festival was held sideways with POSEF (POSTECH Science and Engineering Festival), which brought people outside the campus and Postechians together. As a congratulatory message, President Kim Doh-Yeon remarked, “I hope that 2017 Sunrise Festival turns out to strengthen harmony and unity of POSTECH.” The first day started off with performances from Cheero and freshmen from four departments. On the second day, many performing clubs staged, and a special program “King of Masked Singers” took place. On the last day, singers C Jamm and CHEEZE came onstage. Many students and Pohang citizens attended the event and made the festival much livelier. Just as what the president and the organizing committee wished, Postechians savored the festival.
