SES is held during every summer holiday, starting from last year.
The briefing session started with Jeon Sang-min, the Minister of Office of Admissions and Student Affairs, making a presentation on the significance of SES and how POSTECH students are recommended to participate in SES to learn various skills that are not taught in university. Kim Jeong-gi, the team director of Student Affairs, continued with a presentation on the process of participating in SES, and introduced a collection of autobiographies of students who joined in SES last year. Most importantly, the official SES homepage was introduced. Created this year, the SES homepage contains all the information needed for the participating students, from searching available companies, laboratories and other related industries at which participants can volunteer as interns to submitting a resume. Moon Gyeong-deok (IME 15) gave the last presentation, which was a reflection on his experience in SES.
