POSTECH held ‘POSTECH Vision School’ at POSTECH International Center on Jan. 7. As the first scheme of building good relationship with the local society, Postechians provided various programs to share dreams and visions with about 70 high school students from Pohang. Especially, POSTECH Vision School was credited and attained spotlight for having lectures that can directly help the students. During ‘The God of Study’ lecture, the participants learnt choosing their unique studying method, and challenged designing their careers in ‘Career and Vision’ lecture. The participants had chances to join in various programs such as campus tour, being introduced to the majors in POSTECH, and sharing knowledge about universities of science and technology through Mentor-Mentee program. A manager of POSTECH Vision School said “POSTECH Vision School holds great importance in an aspect that POSTECH linked Pohang high school students and Postechians. In the future to come, POSTECH will continue building strong bond between local society and POSTECH.”
