POSTECH provides credit exchange program in Korea between four universities. Through the program, Postechians get opportunity to meet people whose major is not only engineering, to register for courses that POSTECH cannot offer. However, in this year, registering for courses of Korea National University of Arts (KNUA) causes problems and some of Postechians showed their complaint. The Postech Times interviewed the team of Academic Affairs and Records to know what actually happened.
First of all, the number of student who can register courses has been reduced from 100 to 30. Second of all, the period for register is now only three days from Nov. 1 to 3. The policy is from KNUA for various universities’ students. Lastly, if the number of registered students is more than 30, they will be selected by their GPA and in case of the same GPA, by the number of completed semester, which most of students complain about. However, the team of Academic Affairs and Records only said that the method is used by most of universities.
