Numerous POSTECH students were awarded at “The 22nd HumanTech Paper Award”, held by Samsung Electronics and supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, and Joongang Daily. Gold Prize, only awarded to ten teams in university part, was awarded to MyungSu Kang (LIFE, Ph.D. Candidate, advisory professor Kyong Tai Kim) and Minsoo Kim (PHYS, Ph.D. Candidate, advisory professor Hu-Jong Lee). Silver Prize was awarded to Hyejeong Kim (ME, Ph.D. Candidate, advisory professor Sang Joon Lee).
Bronze Prize was for four students, Byung-Hwa Park (CiTE, Ph.D. Candidate, advisory professor Se-Young Oh), Wan Jae Dong (MSE, Post Doctorate, advisory professor Jong-Ram Lee), Eunkoo Lee (MSE, Ph.D. integrated, advisory professor Dong Sung Kim), Kai Zhou (LIFE, Ph.D. Candidate, advisory professor Sung Ho Ryu).
Four students were awarded a Participation Prize. The awards ceremony was held on Feb. 3 at the Seoul Samsung Electronics building.
