POSTECH campus wine was released in order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the school. The items on sale include Heitz Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (2010), William Fevre Chablis (2014), and Montes Alpha Syrah (2013) which cost 105,000 48,000 and 40,000 KRW respectively. These are some of the most sought-after wine varieties in the world as they achieved great recognition in international judging contests.
Labels containing unique symbols of the school will be pasted on wine bottles. Through negotiations with the seller, the wine will cost less than their retail prices. An additional benefit is that a portion of the revenues raised by selling the wine will be added to the development fund for the school.
