On Dec. 17, Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced its decision to sign a business agreement to establish a mutual cooperation system for conducting joint research on national housing and housing finance market along with POSTECH. Both institutes have chosen "making a mathematical model of consumers’ purchase and their choice between monthly lease and key money, and deducing a major decision factor” as the first subject of their research. Through the results from the research, they will provide information on how consumers purchase housing depending on their circumstances and predict trends in monthly rent and key money.
This is one of the tasks of the government 3.0 project, which is designed to promote the quality of services provided to people via working in concert with different institutions.
