The research team of Professor Dong Sung Kim (ME) developed technology to simply make nano generator by recycling frictional electricity that is wasted in life. The team conducted research to produce and commercialize thin, transparent and flexible nano generator, supported from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and National Research Foundation of Korea. The result was posted in the authoritative material science journal, Advanced Materials in Oct. 15.
This contacting electrification nano generator is very thin, transparent and flexible, so it can be applied to various areas such as multiple energy harvesting technology and wearable technology to supply electric power. Also, it can be produced through a one-step process, so it is proper for mass production and will be highly marketable.
