Professor Hyoung Seop Kim (MSE) has gained recognition for his impressive results in academic activities and research guidance. Elected as the vice president of the KPMI (Korean Powder Metallurgy Institute), he is expected to lead curriculum and technology development in the fields related to nanomaterials. Moreover, his research results were recognized by the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials and won the Yoon Dong Suk Award and MMI-Springer Award from Springer, an international academic publisher.
Also, the effort he puts into training younger students equals the effort he invests in academic activities. Dong Hyun Ahn (MSE Ph.D. candidate) and Hyo Wook Park (MSE Ph.D. candidate) won the Bum-Goo Award and the Chang-Sung-In-Jae Award from the KPMI, respectively.
