On Nov. 21, the Leadership Center conducted a “Career Education for College Girls” in order to help them explore their career options and address questions and concerns. Former female graduates who are currently working in various fields were invited as mentors. Their careers included a lawyer, headhunter, researcher at a government-funded research institute, founder of a company, and a member of a major corporation.
The event was composed of 3 major parts: a meeting session, Q&A session, and dinner time. During the meeting session, each mentor told stories about what they have experienced until they finally arrived at their positions. During the Q&A session, mentees wrote down questions on Post-it’s and posted them on a bulletin board. As the questions were read aloud one by one, the mentors answered them.
