On Apr. 16, POSTECH and Seoul National University (SNU) Hospital signed the MOU (memorandum of understanding) for cooperative research and academic exchange.
According to the MOU, POSTECH and SNU hospital will cooperate in medical research, development of technology transfer program and education of researchers throughout the exchange between the two institutions. Also, they plan to found a management committee to further develop the cooperation.
POSTECH has announced many achievements related to the development of a drug delivery matrix, diagnosis instruments, and medical adhesives. The university also hopes to drive new drug development and clinical research.
Surprisingly, it is the first MOU between SNU hospital and a university. Both parties are confident they can overcome the distance between the hospital and POSTECH and exchange cheerfully to create synergy in healthcare R&D.
