On Mar. 2, POSTECH's reformed library web portal was launched. The library web portal site was redesigned to improve the search function and to make it more convenient for mobile library users. Students are able to access the portal at http://library.postech.ac.kr. The mobile web has the same address. There are six main improvements in this site. First, students are able to search journal articles, like in Google Scholar. Second, cross-browsing is now available: students can access the web by any browsers including Internet Explorer 9 and over, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Third, it has a responsive web design. It provides an optimal viewing experience for users. Fourth, the library blog contests are now consolidated, so now it has magazine-style information. Fifth, customized services are enriched: students are able to check Material Purchase & Document Delivery Service Request. Last but not least, the web site uses open-source Content Management System (CMS) Drupal to increase flexibility. If there are any malfunctions or recommendations for this site, users may submit comments or requests to the university library.
