A Postechian interviewee traveled to Busan and Jeongdongjin in Gangwon-do in the summer and Yeosu, Suncheon and Namwon in Jeollanam-do in the winter. He recommends going in the summer because there are fewer weather limitations. He suggests finding food and interesting places through local residents. Guest houses and inns provided at Rail-Ro Plus, he explained, are good options for sleeping. The Internet cafe “By Train” has several useful tips and information, too.
Maengseong Woo (CE 13), went to Jeolla-do in the summer and Gyeongsang-do in the winter. When plans are established, he said, the first thing that has to be considered is the timeline of trains. Once places are decided, one should choose what to see and to eat in those places. As there were more boarding times than we thought for the train, we were able to enjoy the trip more leisurely. He said his summer was better because he traveled with friends; he traveled alone on his winter trip. He recommended traveling alone if one wants to think or wants complete freedom to choose and rearrange activities.
Ha Jaehyo? (CHEM 12) trip was to Busan, Suncheon, Yeosu, Imsil, Seoul in the summer and Andong, YeongJu, Donghae, Gangreung, YangPyung in the winter. He said each season has advantages and disadvantages. Summer is usually the peak season, which means more events, people, and excitement. However, it can be annoying to deal with crowds and expensive. In the winter trip, although there are less people and lower costs, several services and events are not so good. He recommends finding additional information in published books since their information is usually more credible. Through those Postechians?recommendations, hopefully more people are able to prepare and enjoy a trip on Rail-Ro.
