From Nov. 4-5, the elections for representatives of Undergraduate Association (UA), Dormitory Resident Association (DRA), and Female Undergraduate Association (FUA) were held from 9 A.M. - 10 P.M. in the Student Union Bldg., the Jigok Cafeteria, and the RC dormitory. Absentee ballots were also casted on Nov. 1 in the Student Union Bldg.
In this election, there were two candidate teams for representatives of UA. Among them, Lee Won Jong (IME 13) and Kim Tae Hwa (CiTE 13) were elected as the 29th leaders of UA with 418 votes, which are 19 votes more than the other team. Kim Jun-hyun (ME 13) was elected the 29th President of DRA with 692 votes. Nam Yeong-en (IME 13) was elected the 27th President of FUA with 171 votes. This election proceeded with a very high voter turnout. More than 65% of the undergraduate student body participated in all elections. The election for FUA had 79.93% participation. On the first day of the election, about 50% of students voted. Although many people were afraid of a low voting ratio, the result showed many Postechians gave their attention to the representatives and participated actively to elect them.
The four elected representatives spoke of their plans for next year. The two representatives of UA said, they will communicate via Kakao Plus Friends first, which is easier than email or Facebook. They will also arrange picnics with other universities to promote interaction with people in diverse fields. Nam Yeong-en  suggested programs that would help the opposite sexes understand each other through conversation (not writing). She also suggested physical activities with professionals and female disease seminars to prevent sickness. She wants to make FUA look at the male position, not only at the female points, with a conversation program. Kim Jun-hyun plans to assign a member of DRA to each dormitory to check it immediately.
