Jian Li (CSE Ph.D. candidate), advised by Professor James Won-Ki Hong(CSE), was awarded the Best Paper Award in The 16th Asia-Pacific Network Operations and Management Sympo sium (AP- NOMS) 2014, held from Sep. 17-19 in the National Chiao Tung University.

APNONS focuses on managing networks that span the computing and telecom-munications fields. It was first held in 1997 has become the leading authority on network operations and management among Asia-Pacific countries. There were 140 papers registered and 200 participants from 10 countries for the symposium this year.
Jian Li, called Ri Geon in Korean, earned his master’s degree in POSTECH and is now in POSTECH’s IT Convergence Engineering (ITCE) program.
