A contest exhibit was held to improve the university’s square and pond environment. From Jul. 28- Sep. 19, ideas for improving the environment were accepted. From Oct. 2, evaluation proceeded, scores were calculated by Oct. 10, and the prize ceremony was on Oct. 15.
Eight teams participated. Seven teams consisted of POSTECH employees and the other team consisted of undergraduates. Three teams were awarded prizes: one first place prize and two excellence awards. The first prize went to undergraduates Cho Jae Yeon (CiTE 12) and Lee Joon Ho (ME 12), who submitted the work titled “Flows the Magnetism”. ShinYoung Soh (Planning & Budget) was awarded the excellence award with “Remember”, and Lee, Myoung-Ju (Facilities Management), Kwon, Oh-Yoon (Facilities Management), Jin, Young-Jin (Facilities Management), were also awarded the excellence award with “C.H.A.M., Good Square”.
The exhibition works have been on display since Oct 16 at the Administration Building, Hogil Kim Memorial Hall, Student Union Bldg etc.
