From Jul. 3-6, POSTECH performed Rural Sharing Talent Volunteer Works in Eojeon-ri village, Go Heung Gun, Jeonlanamdo, selected for the 2014 Rural Sharing Talent Trade organized by the Korea Rural Community Corporation.
The Rural Sharing service group consisted of forty Postechians belonging to the first to fourth POSTECH overseas service groups. The students opened the visiting science class in Geumsan elementary school, volunteered at an institution for the aged, and helped farmers. As the forty members are knowledgeable and passionate about natural sciences and engineering as well as experienced volunteers, they were able to work effectively.
