The President expects students to be motivated and challenged. He also expects the university to encourage students to embrace challenges rather than to merely preserve what is currently in place. He said the creative mind is more important than short-term outcome and emphasized that for students nothing is more important than studying. In addition, he suggested learning teamwork, comprehension, and leadership skills while in school, as these are very important in society where everything has to be done in cooperation.
This office meeting has been held once in a month since January of this year and will be held every month. After the meeting, students had an opportunity to talk with President Kim one-on-one.
