All Student Representative Council General Assembly was held on Aug. 31 and lasted for about 10 hours. In order to discuss some major issues and revise an existing policy, this General Assembly takes place twice every semester with a number of representatives from various student organizations, clubs, and departments.
In this General Assembly, student representatives spent their precious time discussing several ongoing issues in POSTECH and reviewing the budgets of student organizations, such as departments, Student Union, and student clubs.
The hottest of all were the following: 1) the evaluation of the amendment of the student regulations 2) the attitude of the Student Council on the school? change in the policy of the student library 3) the issue about dormitory equipment and washing machine policies. Other than these, there were also some brief reports on upcoming festival, like POSTECH-KAIST Science War.
Every General Assembly is broadcasted by PBS and the minutes are posted online several days after the adjournment.
