The ceremony proceeds in a following order: Opening Ceremony, Signboard Hanging Ceremony, Institute Tour, Tae-Joon Park Memorial Hall Tour, and Visit to Tae-Joon Park Statue in the Nobel Garden. Chairman Joon-yang Chung, President Yongmin Kim, Mrs. Ok-ja Jang, dignitaries and various POSTECH members are invited to the ceremony to celebrate the opening of Tae-Joon Park Institute.
Tae-Joon Park is the late founding chairman of POSTECH, whose visionary thoughts and philosophies on education, management, and enterpreneurship had a tremendous influence on shaping our university.
Along with Tae-Joon Park Digital Library, which was named after his name, to support a myriad of works and education of Postechians, this institute is established in order to further promote his philosophies to educators and entrepreneur and also reinforce related researches and education projects.
