Apr. 30 marked the 18th anniversary of the death of Dr. Hogil Kim, the founding president of POSTECH. In commemoration, the Hogil Kim Memorial Foundation, which was formed shortly after his passing, prepared the incense altar in front of his bust in the Hogil Kim Memorial Hall. The wreath-laying ceremony was held at 10 AM.
The altar is supplied with chrysan- themums and incense for those who wish to pay their respects until May 3.
The Foundation also arranged shuttle service on May 5 for those who wish to visit the grave of Dr. Kim in Jirye, Andong city. The shuttles leave at three locations on campus by reservations.
