Seoul Forum 2011 was held at the Shilla Seoul from Sep. 28 to Sep 29. This event selected three topics on which to focus: “creativity, convergence and communication.” Andre Geim who received the Nobel Prize on Physics, Richard Dawkins who wrote ‘Selfish Gene,’ and many other celebrities came to Seoul to attend the forum. Seoul Forum was classified in three sections. These three parts could be briefly explained as first ‘shift of paradigm,’ second as cooperation between university and industry, the last treated common science. President Yongmin Kim had a lecture about industrialization of technology in the second section. 55 Postechians were invited to attend the Forum for free.
