The ‘Eco-Concert in POSTECH’ was held on Friday, Sep.3, at the POSTECH Gymnasium.

In this event, supported by the PAMTIP Alumni Association, POSCO Construction, and POSCO Power, musical stars Seo Bumsuck, Cho Sun-chang and Choi Su-hyung performed several songs from the musicals ‘Notre Dame de Paris’ and ‘Jekyll and Hyde’. There were also performances of ‘Battle-of-the-Year’ awarded B-BOY teams, Gambler Crews and the Korea Drum In Dance group.

Also, in this concert, Kuk Se-jung and Matsueda Rumi demonstrated an Electone (the trademark used for electronic organs produced by Yamaha) performance. This unfamiliar but still mysterious show gave surprise and sent a warning message of environmental hazards and their seriousness.

“This concert contributes to society by sending a message of environment preservation through music”, said Sunggi Baik, President of POSTECH. He added, “I hope through this ECO-Concert, Postechians and their neighbors can gain sympathy.”
