POSTECH made industrial-educational cooperation contract with GS Retail in Jan.26. By developing data analysis methodology through agreement, GS Retail has business competitiveness and POSTECH gains industrial data so as to contributing to improving industry environment and exploiting it as research resources. The agreement contains articles such as improvement of big data analysis algorithm, application of high-end analysis techniques of academy to industrial field, contributing to development of analysis methodology by exploiting high-end analysis techniques. These articles aim for advancement of both academy and industry in common. Meanwhile, agreement was joined in the fourth school of engineering, and Professor Kim Byung-in (IME) and head of management information department of GS Retail attended.
