Professor Hahn Sei-kwang (MSE) was selected as the winner of the Minister of Health and Welfare award in the field of Health and Medical Technology. It is awarded to researchers who have made significant contributions to the development of healthcare. Prof.  Hahn is renowned for nanomaterials used in medicinal biomaterials, which led him to this award. Prof. Hahn has published more than 100 papers in journals such as Nature Photonics and Progress in Polymer Science since his appointment in 2005. Also, he commercialized research results from college and completed the transfer of 33 patent technologies. Following the establishment of Phi BioMed in 2014, he was awarded a contract for the development of smart contact lenses.
